A beginner’s course designed especially for people new to computers to help them acquire an understanding of basic computer hardware and accessories, common terms, commands and features in the Windows environment. This course is ideal for those who have completed a computer introduction course and are looking to learn further skills; it is a great place to start learning about computer applications. Basic keyboard and mouse skills are required for this course.

By the end of this course you will have learnt how to effectively use MS PowerPoint to create professional-looking slideshows, either for special occasions or as projected presentations. Students require basic computer skills and would benefit from a working knowledge of other MS Office programs in order to obtain the most from their training.
